The city of Hamirpur was named after the Katoch king Raja Hamir Chanda. It was carved out of the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the renowned travel destinations because of its pleasant climatic conditions. Sujanpur Fort

Awa Devi Temple (Jalpa Devi)

This is also one of the places established by Katoch rulers of Kangra. Nadaun was quite a famous when rulers of Katoch lost the fort against the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. And, this small town is located by the river Beas and known for various recreational activities like rafting, trout fishing, and camping nearby river shores. Nadaun has an old palace of the Katoch rulers and Shiv temple as a major attraction.

Deotsidh Temple


Also, known by the name of Baba Balak Nath Temple, Deotsidh temple is an old cave temple around 30kms from Hamirpur. The temple is crowded with the people around the year and famous amongst the tourists as well. The facility of stay nearby temple is funded by the state government of Himachal Pradesh.

Narbadeshwar Temple


Narbadeshwar temple is located in Sujanpur town of Hamirpur. It was built by Maharani Prasanna Devi, wife of Raja Sansar Chand. The temple is approximately 200-years-old and famous for its vibrant wall paintings. Narbadeshwar has the Bhitti style of architecture that catches the eyes of many visitors.
