Devi Talab Mandir

Believed to be more than 200 years old, the Devi Talab Temple is situated in the heart of Jalandhar city, just 1 km from the railway station. Dedicated to Goddess Durga, the temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India as it is believed that Sati’s right breast fell here. It has been renovated recently and a new temple has been constructed within the temple premises. Beside the main temple, there is an ancient temple of Goddess Kali and an old tank, which is considered to be sacred by Hindu devotees.

Mary Church

The St. Mary Cathedral Church is counted amongst well known Jalandhar attractions. It is a famous tourist and religious place. The church was originally constructed in the year 1947 by Rev. Fr. John Macodnnel. This church got the status of the mother church of the state of Punjab or the Cathedral church in the year 1955.

Shiv Mandir

The Shiv mandir in Jalandhar is situated at the Gur Mandi. This temple was built by Nawab of Sultanpur during the Lodhi Era. This spectacular temple has unique architecture. The gates of the temple are built similar to that of a mosque, while the architecture of remaining part is based on the design of typical Hindu temple.

Rangla Punjab Haveli

Sodal Mandir

Sodal Mandir is has situated the near Devi Talab Mandir on Sodal Road. The Samadhi consisting of a painted portrait of Baba Sodal decorated with garland and rosaries is the main place of worship. There is a tank called Baba Sodal-da-Sarovar where pilgrims take a holy dip. Every year in mid-September, a fair is held at the Samadhi on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi. Pilgrims belonging to different religions come to this fair from different parts of the country.
