Pradhan Mantri UBI Yojana – For poor and unemployed people Universal Basic Income Scheme or Monthly/Massik Bhatta Yojana.
Due to the wave of demonetization, many people in our country, especially the poor ones suffered a lot. And, as per the trusted sources, during the Union Budget 2017-18, the government might declare a scheme to impress these people. PM Shri. Narendra Modi might launch the Universal Basic Income Scheme or UBI Yojana. As per this scheme, a monthly allowance will be provided to the eligible people. There are high chances that this plan is going to launch soon.
UBI SCHEME – PM MONTHLY BHATTA YOJANA
Eligibility – Poor and unemployed people can take the benefits of this scheme. The exact qualification criteria will soon be published in the official document.
Benefit – The major advantage of this scheme will be given to the eligible people with a fixed monthly income. This assured monthly income or “Bhatta” is supposed to be around Rs. 1000.
UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME (UBI) SCHEME – HOW TO APPLY?
So far, it is not clear that how to apply for this scheme. Once the official documentation is released, all clarification concerning the same will be made available. As per the sources, the Indian government will launch an official portal where eligible applicants can apply online. During the application form fill-up, there details like Bank account, etc. will be collected. After the successful submission of application form, applicants will receive a direct transfer of the amount to their respective bank accounts.
Ex-Finance Minister P. Chidambaram assumes that this scheme should launch with comprehensive planning. According to him, if this Maasik Bhatta Yojana is launched without proper planning then later on the government might face issues. Some other authorities and ministers said that it is a good scheme and will inevitably turn out to be beneficial.
PRADHAN MANTRI BHATTA YOJANA
The primary beneficiaries of this scheme will be the people who are unemployed and poor. Before providing the financial assistance, the applicant’s records will be checked to make sure if they deserve the advantage or not. Many similar Bhatta schemes are already active in States like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Punjab, etc. This scheme will be the first-ever national level allowance system for poor and unemployed.
